Was the cause of Elvis’s suspicious mind a drop in his oxytocin levels?

Was the cause of Elvis's suspicious mind a drop in his oxytocin levels? If our tears were missing prolactin, adrenocorticotropic hormones, and leucine enkephalina, would they still signify sadness? If Freud was still practising today, would he be promoting pineal envy?

Join Nina Liebenberg (Curator) and Dr Ross Balchin (Neuro-psychologist) for a walkabout of Suspicious Mind: Artists' exploration of mind and matter, on Wednesday 18 June from 13:00 – 14:00 at the Iziko National Gallery Annexe. The exhibition is an official World Design Capital 2014 project.

Participating artists: Pippa Skotnes, Fritha Langerman, Penny Siopis, Willem Boshoff, Paul Edmunds, Pierre Fouché, Fabian Saptouw, Nicholas Hlobo, Dineo Seshee Bopape, Gerhard Marx, Malcolm Payne, Kim Gurney, Katherine Bull, and Sandile Zulu.
